Semra spends her childhood watching through the window her peers playing outside. She cannot join them to avoid being accidentally harmed. Since birth, she suffers from epidermolysis bullosa.

Children with this disorder are called "butterflies", because their skin is sensitive like a wings of butterfly. Damage is similar to burns and every touch, even the smallest, cracks the skin and wounds appear throughout the whole body.

For twelve years, Semra had been 87 times under total anesthesia at the Military Medical Academy due to painful dressing and difficult operations that might last for six hours.

Currently, there is no cure for such condition. In order to ease the pain to this brave girl it is necessary to provide her with special gauze, which is daily replaced and all the other consumable medical supplies for care.
