Nikolina suffers from an extremely rare disease - Deletion Syndrome.

It was really a long and difficult way to determine the cause of her health problems. She was taken to pediatric neurologist, physiatrist, psychologist, speech therapist, defectologist ... After seventeen months, she was diagnosed with Deletion Syndrome. Nikolina lacks a gene that produces proteins, which create certain synapses in the brain, necessary for speech, memory and communication.

The acquired tasks and skills are forgotten, there are uncontrollable cries  and laughter, speech is not developed, she has frequent respiratory and other infections.

She needs funds for specialist examinations, diagnostic examinations, laboratory analyses, equipment to stimulate development, rehabilitation, speech therapy and defectology treatments, medical devices, supplements, travel and accommodation expenses during treatment.
