raises funds for Jovana Cvetić (2002)

Jovana was born as a healthy child. At the end of the eighth grade, she went to a doctor to fill in a medical list for high school, and then a large number of leukocytes were noticed in her blood. Soon she was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (HML) at University Children's Hospital Tiršova.

The disease did not discourage her, she is fully aware and responsibly carries it  guided by the sentence "Nothing is impossible, because the impossible just takes a little longer"

Jovana is a smiling, friendly and positive person. She is a student of the second grade of the School of Economics in Belgrade. She finds her comfort in music, she plays guitar and piano, and is a member of KUD "Dimitrije Tucović" but she regrets that she is currently unable to dance because of her health condition.

During  the treatment, a mutation appeared  that required the introduction of a new drug, one packet of which costs EUR 4,000 and lasts only for a month. Her family is not able to afford this medicine (TASIGNA). Jovana hopes that by taking this medicine she could avoid bone marrow transplantation.

Her desire to travel the world, to be successful, to do what she loves and to always be surrounded by her family and best friends  are the reasons to prevent leukemia to win.
