raises funds for Andrej and Sara Dedović (2014)

Andrej and Sara Dedović were born on 24th  December 2014. naturally, at the 31st week of pregnancy. They were immediately transferred to the intensive care unit of the Children's Hospital in Novi Sad, where they were given artificial oxygen for 13 days. After that, one more month they stayed at the neonatology department at the same hospital. At that time, Andrej had sepsis, hemorrhage in the brain of the third degree with the expansion of brain ventricles and infection of the urinary tract. Sara got the expansion of the brain ventricles.

Due to lack of oxygen during the birth both children lost a volume of white brain matter and  eye nerves damage on both optical systems. They also had white matter softening (leukomalacia).

Both children are diagnosed with cerebral palsy (quadriparesis), they can rotate independently, but they cannot take four-legged position, cannot sit without support or walk. Sara is able to crawl only with  her hands without using her legs but Andrej cannot speak, he uses only a few words, rarely achieves social contact, while Sara is mentally developed in line with her age.

Due to brain damage, twins have poor EEG, which causes Andrej to have periodically epileptic seizures.

All the efforts of their parents and the therapists  are put to make Andrej and Sara as independent as possible. For all these treatements they need financial help from all the good people.
