Jelica was born in 1981 with severe brain and body damage - cerebral palsy. For many years  she has been struggling with her way of living, which consists of operations and rehabilitation, visiting daily health care institutions.

What is the most frustrating to Jelica is that despite her efforts, she still needs other people's help. She lives as a tenant with her mother in Novi Sad and her living expenses are very high, although she has a job. Jelica's condition worsens year after year. Her biggest fear is to get to use a wheelchair because she is still young and eager to live.

Recently, stem cells treatment at a clinic in Ukraine has given her chances for improvement. Jelica sent the documentation and the answer was affirmative. However, she needs almost 860,000 dinars for the treatment. Jelica asks all good-willed people to help her as much as they can.
