Milan is a child born after  a twin pregnancy. He developed like all of his peers, but before he started  the first grade, he experienced difficulties in moving. His parents observed that Milan had been often falling , and he had difficulties to climb the stairs and to get up from the squat. He was diagnosed with muscle dystrophy.

The course of the disease is progressive and Milan can hardly walk independently. From the fifth grade this boy uses wheelchairs. He is an excellent student of the primary school Vuk Karadzic in Vranje and he likes sports. His twin brother is completely healthy, while his older brother has the same diagnosis.

The family has exhausted all the financial means for long-lasting struggle, but Milan permanently needs daily therapies at home, medicaments, rehabilitation and spa treatment too.
