raises funds for Dimitrije Matića (2009).

Due to the lack of oxygen and complications at birth, Dimitrije was diagnosed with the spastic form of childhood cerebral palsy - quadriparesis.

Immediately after the birth, he was reanimated and for the next 72 hours he fought for life. His struggle for recovery began soon  after he left the hospital. Rehabilitation started when he was two and a half months old and it included: a physiatrist, a neurologist, a neonatologist and a psychologist. Dimitrije also has bronchial asthma that slows down the intensity of exercise and sometimes allows him to rest more.

So far, he had three tendon operations, partial fibritomy, in Russia. Dimitrije cannot walk, he uses his hands poorly, he cannot speak, but he has a smile that says a lot. Magnetic resonance showed great brain damage, but Dimitrije has progressed both physically and mentally, thanks to effort, perseverance and, above all, love.

In addition to physical and hippotherapy, Dimitrije needs a  walker in order to maintain vertical position as much as possible and learn to make the steps independently.
