Vuk is the first child from a regular pregnancy. When he was two months old, epileptic seizures began. He was transferred from Children's Neurology department into the Institute for Mother and Child of Serbia in Belgrade. There the struggle with persistent seizures began.

Only two years after the blood analysis in London, Vuk got  diagnosis of epileptic encephalopathy caused by a rare single gene mutation.

Unfortunately, the disease is incurable and Vuk still has epileptic seizures in spite of the therapy. He  cannot talk, sit or walk. Despite all the pain, Vuk is a good boy, very happy and smiling child. He has two younger brothers who mean a lot to him.

He is treated at the Institute for Mother and Child and is involved in physical treatment. He needs rehabilitation and orthopedic aids to make his life better and happier.
