In October 2018 Nikola was hospitalized in University Children’s Hospital Tiršov. He had a stomach ache, pain in hips, legs, and fever twenty days before he came to the hospital.

Based on clinical and laboratory findings, there were a suspicion that Nikola was suffering from Neuroblastoma, IV stage. Unfortunately, the pathohistological findings confirmed the darkest doubt.

Chemotherapy was prescribed and later surgery was scheduled as the primary tumor is in his chest. He will also need funds for the transplantation of bone marrow abroad,  radio and immunotherapy too. The power of a child, perseverance and the wish to fight, gives hope for everyone that he will live his fully after he goes through the difficult road in front of  him.
