Andreja was born as a healthy baby. By the age of five, she was living life like all her peers, but that's when the first problems arose - loss of balance and frequent falls. In the following years, Andreja’s condition generally worsened. It was very difficult for her to walk and she could move only with the help of someone. She stopped walking completely at the age of twelve. Now she moves only with the help of electric wheelchair.

The diagnosis was for a long time cerebral palsy but recently she was diagnosed with Leigh Syndrome.

Physical and neurorehabilitation with robotics have shown a very good effect on Andrej's condition and doctors at the polyclinic in Croatia advised that the therapy should be repeated in order to reach the ultimate goal - Andreja's independence.
