Soon after they suspected that Viktor did not develop as other children of his age, his parents realized something was wrong. He began to sit with eight months, and from then on, the mother noticed that he was weak and did not advance in standing and walking.

After detailed analysis, a discouraging news came from the laboratory for medical genetics. Little Viktor suffers from spinal muscular atrophy.

SMA is a neuromuscular disease characterized by a progressive loss of basic life functions such as walking, digestion, swallowing and breathing. The time is not on Viktor’s side because this is a progressive disease and family is unable to finance needed medicine.

Let’s provide Viktor with the money for necessary medicine that is of vital importance to stop development of the disease, for physical therapy and rehabilitation in spa centers too.
