After regular pregnancy and cesarean section, four days after birth, Mia got sepsis and staphylococci in the nose, and then doctors transferred her to Clinical Center Kragujevac where she spent the first month.

Mia was released from Clinical Center Kragujevac with diagnoses of muscle hypotonia and slow psychomotor development. From hypotonia she got kyphoscoliosis and for that reason she was at the Clinic for Rehabilitation in Belgrade for a year.

She had to use spinal orthoses as a help to stabilize the body and straighten the vertebral column so that Mia can sit and move. Unfortunately, none of these attempts were successful, and doctors further propose a spine operation to implant the rod to correct the vertebral column.

Mia spent most of her time in the hospital, almost from birth. In order to improve her condition, to be able to sit and move independently, it is necessary to have an operation that her family is not able to support financially.
