In the first months, parents noticed that Mihailo does not follow the moving objects with his eyes and that something was wrong. His mother insisted that he should have his eyes checked when he was six months old and he was eventually diagnosed with a congenital cataract. The first surgery was scheduled for his ninth month.

It was very difficult to find out that Mihailo was blind and that he could not see anything. After the first examination after the surgery, parents were informed that Mihailo's secondary cataract returned to both eyes and glaucoma in his left eye - that eye also changed color.

For Mihailo to save his eyesight, for his mobility and that he can play like all other children it is necessary to provide him with contact lenses that parents can not afford. Unfortunately, that is not all. Parents also noticed that Mihailo can not sit  and that his movements of his hands and legs are very weak such as his whole body. Physiotherapist determined that Mihailo had hypotonia and that he needed to practice at home.

It was only after two years  that he began to sit without support. Mihailo still can not walk, he is very unstable, he can not control his legs and his hands are weak. In March 2019, Mihailo was diagnosed with a dyskinetic cerebral palsy and he moves with the help of orthopedic aids.

The family asks all good-willed people to help in further treatment and to provide Mihailo with  money for sufficient number of therapies, lens and aids needed for his development and normal life.
