Little Martin was born with a spinal split and was operated on the first day of his life. After the surgery complications caused hydrocephalus and for that reason it was necessary to build in a device in his head to regulate and eject the cerebral spinal fluid from his head. The little brain descends down Martin's spinal cord and presses the spine that is why he is in constant danger of falling into a coma. The operation that is needed is very difficult and dangerous.

Martin cannot not talk and walk; he has a severe distortion of the spine and epileptic seizures. Besides all that, little Martin understands all around him. The family decided to preserve his stem cells for the later therapy and by transplanting stem cells to prolong his life, for which doctors are not sure how long it can last.

In addition to going to the stem cell transplantation at the Stem Cell Therapy Clinic in Austria, Vienna, it is also necessary to collect money for the travelling costs.
