Uroš was born as a healthy baby. At the age of eight, the first symptoms of the disease were noticed and soon after it was found out that he was suffering from muscular dystrophy, Duchenne type. He has been in a wheelchair since he was twelve, as the disease has progressed. All possible means were spent to an adequate treatment, including going to the spa and the sea side.

Uroš's health is getting worse every year. He has had three pneumothorax surgeries so far. He has been using for ten years the NIV non-invasive ventilation apparatus. From now on ne needs  mechanical insufflator-exsufflator which his family can not afford, because of the long term expenditures for his treatment.

Let’s provide Uroš with surgery, medicines, spa treatments, physical therapies, wheelchairs, mechanical insufflator-exsufflator and aspirators.
