Pavle was born as a healthy baby from a regular pregnancy. Before the second year, he was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome - a kidney disease syndrome, which is an autoimmune disease. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with autism too.

In order to keep the disease under control, Pavle takes large doses of corticosteroids, which has a bad effect on the immune system, growth, development, eyesight, bone density ...

Due to the deterioration of the general condition, and after the biopsy of the kidney  it was planned to change the therapy to the cyclosporine medication , which is a much stronger therapy and would further affect his body. To stop the progression of the disease, Pavle was advised to undergo stem cell transplantation treatment. Treatment would also be of great help for autism.
