raises funds for Nikola Rakića (2016).

Nikola is the third child from a healthy and regular  pregnancy. He was born in the fortieth week, by caesarean section, with a birth grade of 9/9. On the second day, he got an infection and neonatal convulsions. He was transferred to neonatology at the Institute for Mother and Child. In the third month, he had magnetic resonance imaging of the head, and the findings were: reduction of white brain mass, dilated right ventricle.

In the seventh month, the IMD physiatrist sent him to the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology, where he was diagnosed with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy, hypertension of the muscles of the left arm and both legs.

Nikola is being treated at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and in Banja Koviljača Spa. He  can partially sit and crawl. He still doesn't stand or walk. Nikola also has strabismus and needs surgery.

He is a mentally preserved child, he is in slight delay, but he understands everything and can speak. He has a great desire to stand on his own feet.

In order to make his first steps, in addition to the fact that he already had one muscle fibrotomy operation, Nikola also needs other operations, physical therapies and orthopedic aids. In order to make even more progress regarding  the speaking, he needs speech therapists treatment and special educators too.
