Lana was born with an excellent grade 10/10 and looked like a healthy baby. At that time, everything seemed to be fine because she moved her arms and legs and smiled. She smiled at everyone.

When she was  two and a half months old, her parents noticed that she was no longer moving her legs, that her arms had weakened and they quickly took her to the doctor. They were referred to a pediatric neurologist  for further examinations.

They soon went to the hospital and stayed there for three weeks, where after numerous tests she was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, type 1. It is a very progressive disease that affects muscles and  causes loss of basic life functions such as walking, digestion, swallowing and breathing. They were told that there was a cure that would stop this disease, and the family felt relief. 

She was five months old when she got medication to stop her illness,  it actually did it - it just stopped illness, but Lana is still helpless and just lying in bed. However, there is a medicine that can cure her, but it is very expensive, so expensive that parents can only dream that they can raise money on their own.

They ask all people with a kind heart to help them raise money together for a cure that will save her from this vicious disease and allow her to play, run and jump with her brother. Let's give Lana a chance for her childhood and all its charms. Let's help her stand firmly on the ground and allow her footsteps to be heard far away.
