Until last year, Luka was a healthy child. After he accidently fell into the water, he was drowning and suffered lack of oxygen that resulted in global ischemia.

After a seven-month stay in the Novi Sad Children's Hospital, Luka has been at home care and treatment since October. His daily problems are muscle spasms and contractures. He is not able to eat on his own, he doesn’t walk and talk. Stem cell transplantation could significantly help in his further recovery.

Three treatments are planned, which will be done with twenty days brakes. In addition to transplantations,it is very important for Luka to have physical therapy, oxygen therapy in the hyperbaric chamber and spa treatment.

So far, Luka's parents have managed to struggle for his recovery on their own but now they need our help. Let's help Luka to be a smiling and cheerful boy again.
