Tara was born in the 29th week of pregnancy, which brought with it certain challenges. Instead of being in a crib at home, she spent her first days in a children's hospital in Novi Sad. She started a difficult struggle after she was diagnosed with sepsis, she had an open ductus, bleeding cyst, and for three weeks she was connected to a respirator. The overall circumstances of premature birth resulted in severe hearing impairment. From the beginning, she did not react to her mother's voice and the other sounds. In October 2019, it was confirmed that Tara had severe hearing damage in both ears. She had a cochlear implant installed on September 8, 2020  in the Clinical Center of Vojvodina.

Difficulties with hearing lead to a delay in her psychomotor development, so regular weekly treatment  is necessary, including regular monitoring by a team of experts. Tara needs financial help for speech therapy and special education treatments and for special rehabilitation too.

Tara's smile has never shown that she is not able to hear, although she was prematurely born and she can not hear her mother and loved ones, she is always a cheerful, lively and curious girl.
