Danijela has been in a persistent vegetative state, a coma vigil,  for eleven years, which she went into after sepsis caused by giving birth. Danijela's heart didn't beat for half an hour at that time, but she managed to survive.

Her eyes are open but she doesn’t recognize any one. She needs someone else's help in all segments of her life. Progress is great, because no one who has experienced this kind of trauma could have the functions she has, but she needs neurorehabilitation in order to maintain and improve her condition. By going to therapies in Germany, where she was for three months, her condition significantly improved, but it is necessary to repeat the therapies, which require considerable sums of money, which her family, unfortunately, cannot afford.

Danijela is currently at home and is taken care of by her family and daughter Marija, who is trying to wake her up with her magical smile and kind voice.

There is a hope, we have to give it a chance. Danijela has achieved incredible results with the strength of her will, perseverance and therapies that are of great importance to her. She needs funds for neurorehabilitation abroad, medications, supplements, orthopedic aids and funds to cover travelling and accommodation costs.
