raises funds for Marija Oreški Tomašević (1974).

 

Marija has been combating breast cancer for five years. She had two surgeries (lumpectomy in 2016 and axillary dissection in 2018) and numerous therapies too. At one point everything seemed fine, but unfortunately the cancer came back and progressed locally. Marija currently has 5 tumors in her right breast, 4 of which have merged into one and two local metastases in the lymph nodes. Since tumors exuded (pierced the skin), mastectomy is not currently recommended.

 

There are therapies abroad for this type of cancer, with great chances for a recovery, but Marija cannot afford them because she is no longer able to work due to the disease. Family and friends have exhausted all resources for all the years of treatment. The only way to raise money is with the help of generous people.

 

The money is needed for therapies, genetic and molecular genomic tests, diagnostic, specialist and control examinations and consultations, surgical procedures, laboratory analyzes, medications, supplements, rehabilitation, travel expenses and accommodation during treatment, both in the country and abroad.

 

Marija is a fighter, but the moment has come when she needs our help!
