Nađa was born prematurely in the 30th week of pregnancy, by emergency cesarean section, weighing only 1,550 grams. Complications at birth led to the diagnoses of cerebral palsy (G80 – Paralysis cerebralis) and F83 – mixed specific developmental disorders.

After birth, Nađa was cared for at the Institute of Neonatology in Belgrade, where she spent 72 days. From an early age, she has been included in intensive rehabilitation programs—physical therapy, neurorobotic treatments, as well as speech and special education therapies both in her home country and abroad. By the age of eight, Nađa has undergone a total of five surgeries. The year 2022 stands out in particular, when, thanks to the generosity of donors, she underwent two surgeries in the United States. These procedures significantly contributed to her progress and represent an important part of her long-term rehabilitation process.

In order to further improve her motor functions and achieve her first independent steps, Nađa requires continuous therapies, among which robotic therapy stands out as a key component of her further development and independence.

Despite all the challenges, Nađa is a cheerful and smiling girl who loves school and her friends and strives to participate in everyday activities in accordance with her abilities. With adequate and continuous therapeutic support, she has realistic prospects for further progress and a greater degree of independence.

Accordingly, financial support is needed to continue her treatment, including robotic therapy, physical therapy, special education and speech therapy treatments, as well as specialist examinations, travel expenses, and accommodation related to her treatment.
