raises funds for Sonja Milošević (2014).

 

Sonja was born on 7 August 2014  in Belgrade. She developed as a healthy baby and a healthy girl. Everything seemed fine until September 2019, when Sonja was diagnosed with dg. Sy Guillain Barre (a serious and complicated disease, a form of polyneuropathy that creates a sudden worsening of muscle weakness that often leads to paralysis).

 

Sonja struggles with respiratory failure, pneumonia, pulmonary atelectasis, hypertension, tachycardia and kidney calculosis. She was sent  for treatment and rehabilitation to the hospital  Dr. Miroslav Zotović, as an immobile patient. As a consequence of the underlying disease and atelectasis she got  neuromuscular scoliosis of the spine up to 70 degrees.

 

Sonja's recovery has stopped because without spinal surgery, she has no ability of improvement. The operation she urgently needs is being done in Turkey. She needs the funds for surgery abroad, rehabilitation, specialist examinations, postoperative therapies, orthopedic aids, spa treatment and to cover  travelling and accommodation costs, in the country and abroad.

 

Parents ask all humane people to help Sonja in her struggle with this serious illness.
