Petra was born on 15 July 2020  in Belgrade. She is the third girl in the family. Due to complications at birth, Petra got bleeding in the brain and her saturation was poor. Soon, she was diagnosed with microcephaly, hypotonia and hypertonia of the left side, hemiparesis of the left side, narrowing of the lower part of the medulla oblongata and one part of the spinal cord and polymicrogyria on the right side of the brain.

Petra swallows slowly and with difficulties, she has no complete control of her head and she is still not able to get into a sitting position. Due to poor saturation, she needs an oxygen concentrator. The trauma she experienced during the birth left severe consequences so she barely uses the left side of her body, the right side of her body she uses with difficulties thus she needs daily physical therapy. She  needs funds for specialist examinations, rehabilitation, control examinations, speech therapy, defectological treatments, for treatments in the hyperbaric chamber, laboratory analyzes, medicines, supplements, spa treatment and for accommodation costs.

Early stimulation is of the vast importance for children, because a lot could be changed to better with adequate therapies if they were applied in time. So let's help this little girl not  waste time and  start with treatments that will help her progress as soon as possible.
