raises funds for Nikola Milenković (1997).

Nikola was born in 1997. He lived like all his peers. After high school he got a job and worked for a while. At the end of 2018, he had to quit his job because of illness. He had  unbearable pain in the spine.

At the medical examination in KC Nis in the neurology department, he was diagnosed with Discus hernia and vertebral injuries L4 and L5. Shortly afterwards, he underwent surgery at a private clinic, but without significant improvement.

Nikola continued to live with pain and medication against it. He continued his treatment in Belgrade at the Clinical Center Srbija. With the help of family and friends, he managed to raise funds for another operation. After the second operation, he continued his rehabilitation in the spa. The condition of the spine was better, but the pain was still constant.

At the control examination at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, a swab was taken from his wound, where the findings showed an isolated Staphylococcus bacteria. The treatment was continued in the same institution with the use of antibiotic therapy. After leaving the hospital, a year later, he had therapy because the bacteria was present all the time.

Nikola still had pain (tingling in his hands, pain in his neck, lower back and  in  legs). At the beginning of this year, with a detailed diagnosis, the doctors suggested Nikola that he should have a third operation (implant placement between the vertebrae in order to obtain the required height of the intervertebral space).

Nikola needs funds for surgery, rehabilitation, check-ups, medication and for travelling costs. He needs our help for all that.
