Srna was born on  8 September 2020. Immediately after birth, she was diagnosed with Down syndrome. After the initial shock for the parents and getting used to the fact that their girl has a chromosomal disorder that significantly limits her abilities and possibilities, they consider her coming into the world as a blessing and will do everything to help her day by day and look forward to her small steps in life.

At the end of March 2021, another shock followed for Srna's parents and brother. At the Institute for the Healthcare of Mother and Child of Serbia ``Dr Vukan Cupic", Srna was diagnosed with MDS myelodysplastic syndrome (a group of related bone marrow disorders). In order to beat this disease, it is necessary to start treatment as soon as possible.

Srna is a baby who does not take a smile off her face. Her smile gives her parents the strength to persevere in the fight to help her and make her childhood easier. Her parents are not able to pay the costs of treatment themselves, so they ask all humane and generous people to help them, so that Srna can go abroad for treatment as soon as possible.

She needs the funds for treatment, specialist examinations, diagnostics, rehabilitation, control examinations and for travelling and accommodation costs.
