Ana was born on 23 January 2018 in Novi Sad. Due to the premature birth she had third degree bleeding in the brain on the seventh day of life. As a consequence of bleeding, hydrocephalus occurred (increased amount of cerebrospinal fluid in the blood), followed by brain surgery and implantation of a VP shunt.

After leaving the hospital, Ana started intensive physical therapies that gave good results. Unfortunately, at the age of one and a half, Ana had her first epileptic seizure and was diagnosed with epilepsy, which slowed down her psychomotor development.

In addition to everything that happened to her, Ana is a cheerful and friendly girl. She can sit, crawl and walk independently with support. She is mentally preserved and has a great desire to run with her peers. It takes a lot of work to progress in treatment, to make her first steps and enjoy playing with her friends.

Ana needs funds for specialist examinations, diagnostics, stem cell transplantation, physical, special education and speech therapy treatments, hippotherapy, hydrotherapy, spa treatment, hyperbaric chamber treatments, sensory integration aids, orthopedic aids, supplements, vitamins and probiotics and for travelling and accommodation costs.

So far, her parents have financed all the costs of the treatment  and exhausted all the resources, so they ask humane people to help them so that Ana can make her first independent steps as soon as possible.
