Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Veljko Savić (2017).
Veljko was born after risky pregnancy and he was graded with 10. He lost breath in the third month and he was hospitalized for numerous tests. After a long time, he was diagnosed at the German Genetic House with: Lesh Nyhan syndrome, an incurable disease.
Veljko was admitted, for physical therapies, to the Institute for Mother and Child, and later to the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology. There it was determined that he had muscle hypotonia and neck spasm. After many difficult and exhausting exercises, gradual work and persistence there were hardly visible results. Veljko is a cheerful child, aware of his environment. But ... Veljko cannot not sit, crawl or walk.
The family asks all the good people to help Veljko go to further physical therapy so that he can make his first step, learn to walk, run to his family for a hug and have a carefree childhood like his friends.
His parents are not able to provide money necessary for further treatment, medical and orthopedic supplies, therapies, specialist examinations, and travelling costs.
