Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Tara Milosavljević (2005).
Tara was born in term, without any complications, she was graded with the highest grade. When she was six months old , she slowly began to lose previously acquired functions. Then the struggle began. Family started visiting all possible institutions and doctors, searching for a diagnosis with constant and persistent rehabilitation in hospitals and spas. Finally, at the age of four, she was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome.
Rett Syndrome is a progressive developmental neurological disorder that is typical for girls. It is characterized by acquired microcephaly, characteristic stereotyped movements of the hands and loss of their function, as well as disruption of the osseous joint system, which leads to severe disability over time.
Tara cannot currently walk or talk. Her family hopes that cure will be discovered in the near future. Until then, in order to maintain the osseous joint system and muscle tone, daily physical therapy, medication, as well as spa rehabilitation, the possibility of surgical procedures and certain orthopedic aids are required.
Our little help means a lot to Tara! Let's be humane!
