Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Uroš Matošević (2017).
Uroš was born as a healthy child. He played with his parents, went to kindergarten, and rode his scooter. However, problems arose in 2019. The child often had high temperatures and early stages of bronchitis. He occasionally complained of abdominal pain. He was regularly examined by a doctor, but they said it was normal for a child of his age. In October, he complained that he had a burning sensation while urinating, so he was immediately taken to Nephrology in Niš after the blood test results and high CRP. He was hospitalized and treated for kidney inflammation.
A month later, the child had a terrible pain in his right hip for the second time and he was transferred to hematology, where the bone marrow tumor was discovered, which was later proved by scanner.
He started chemotherapy treatment without a biopsy, because the tumor had already metastasized to the bones and head and it was spreading rapidly.
According to all the analysis so far, doctors believe it is neuroblastoma.
Uroš's parents hope that with the help of all good people, they will give their child a chance to be treated abroad and thus increase the chances for winning in this struggle for life. In addition to the cost of hospital treatment abroad, Uroš also needs funds for travelling costs and medical supplies and supplements.
