Stojan was born as a healthy baby from the third, healthy and desired pregnancy. He grew and developed with his two sisters, with lots of love and care.

When he was eighteen months old, Stojan abruptly stopped walking, talking, laughing and he became quite different from children of his age.

After a lot of examination, suspicion and speculation, it was only after genetic analysis that Stojan was diagnosed with a very rare disease - Aicardi Goutieres syndrome, only five hundred people worldwide have been suffering from it.  It is a neurological disease affecting the brain, spinal cord and the immune system.

Stojan needs funds to go abroad for specialist examinations to the clinic in which children with AGS syndrome are treated, for daily physical therapies, working with speech therapists and defectologist, for occupational therapies and speech exercises, for hypo and hydrotherapy, wheelchair and orthopedic supplies.
