Ognjen was born in term, naturally, and the delivery was completed with the forceps.

Due to slow development, underdeveloped speech and stereotypes, since 2016 he has been treated at the Institute for Psychophysiological Disorders and Speech Pathology "Prof. Dr. Cvetko Brajović '' and at the Clinic for Children and Youth of the Institute of Mental Health. He was diagnosed with autism (F84.0 - Autismus puerilis) and mixed specific developmental disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti).

He was also hospitalised at the IMZ in Lipovica twice, where speech therapy and defectology treatment was carried out. Also, Ognjen has been going to private speech therapy and defectology treatments in Valjevo for eight years and attends a special school, but his speech is still underdeveloped, he speaks a few words sporadically, has stereotypes, flaps his hands, walks on his toes and occasionally screams. In the collective, he notices children more but plays alone, is sensitive to noise and loud sounds. He is occasionally irritable for no apparent reason and auto-aggressive, and usually responds adequately to prohibitions. An assessment of general abilities was also attempted with the manipulative test of the LEITER scales, but Ognjen does not achieve a sufficient level of interaction and ability for this type of assessment because he does not understand the instructions.

Ognjen's parents are planning stem cell treatment in a clinic in Turkey, for which they need significant financial resources, which they are unable to provide.

He needs funds for stem cell treatment abroad, speech therapy and defectology treatments, laboratory analyses, specialist examinations, as well as for travel and accommodation costs.
