raises funds for Nina Blanuša (2016)

Nina was born naturally after a regular pregnancy in the 38th gestation week, and due to a condition after hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (severe suffocation of a newborn) and slower postnatal adaptation, she was treated in an isolation unit for oxygen therapy. Due to focal epileptic seizures that she has had since 5.5 months, she has been using antiepileptic therapy for 6 months.

She was diagnosed with: G80.0 Paralysis cerebralis spastica quadriplegica and G40.2 Epilepsia symptomatica, and at the age of 7, she has neurologically spastic quadriparesis, general developmental delay, epilepsy, strabismus and a severe degree of scoliosis.

Given that Nina has not adopted any milestones of development (except partial head control), she does not sit or walk, sphincter control has not been established, she has epilepsy, the need for the continuous presence of her parents is essential.

In order to progress, she needs intensive physical as well as speech and language therapy treatments.

Funds are needed for rehabilitation, somatopedic treatments, speech therapy and defectology treatments, specialist examinations, BDA treatments and training, neurostimulation and osteopathic therapies, orthopedic aids and wheelchairs.
