The first symptoms of the disease appeared at the end of March 2025 in the form of fatigue, suffocation and lack of breath. In April of the same year, Jovan was hospitalized when the results of the biopsy confirmed the frightening diagnoses - malignant tumor of the connective and soft tissue of the chest (C49.3 Neoplasma malignum textus connexivi et mollis thoracis), secondary malignant lung tumor (C78.0 Neoplasma malignum secundarium pulmonum).

He was treated with the IV cycles of chemotherapy according to the protocol as well as palliative radiation therapy of the left shoulder girdle.

An analysis of the tumor tissue and a liquid biopsy of the CeGat Cancer Precision Double Test (NGS) were performed, where, due to the mutation on the SS18-SSX1 gene, continued treatment with the EZH2 inhibitor Tazemostat.

Considering that costs for this type of treatment are high, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed so that Jovan can fight the disease and be present in the growing up of his child.
