Lana was born after the second regular pregnancy, in term, by planned cesarean section. Five days later, she was hospitalized because she stopped breathing and had cyanosis. Her treatment began at the age of 4 months, at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology due to deviations in psychomotor development and intensive hypotonia. 

She was diagnosed with  Ataxic cerebral palsy (G80.4 Paralysis cerebralis ataxica) in March 2011 after specialist examinations and diagnostics.

Since there is no medical therapy for this condition, the only thing advised and applied is physical therapy.

Lana has been exercising every day with her therapists since she was one year old, and in addition, she also goes swimming and horseback riding, to robotic neurorehabilitation, which requires significant financial resources that her family is no longer able to provide.

She needs funds to continue physical therapy and intensive robotic neurorehabilitation.
